I get it, she's famous so ergo her dogs are too. I just could not get over the new reports about her dogs apparently being eaten by coyotes. And how news media have created a spotlight over it. Reports have mentioned that Paris customarily would leave her 17 dogs out the yard at night. And because of this (as it was a clear invitation to the wild predators), 2 of her prized collection went dinner with the coyotes.
Well, whatever... anyway, her dogs aren't in any digestive state. They're all ok, now everyone can move on ...
I've been thinking... are we a specie driven by weights? From the time one is born it is a standard for one to be placed on top of a scale. I would understand that, plus the occasional weighing in for health and/or professional purposes as age progresses. For some culture the heavier one is the better, for some... less is more appropriate. To the greater majority the average varies, depending on which magazines you read. :)

To continue yesterday’s article on 2008 being the Year of Getting Real, here are the four other major world upheavals predicted to happen this year by a select group of marketers, activists and cultural anthropologists.

I was just trying to lighten things up a bit, because I was getting too focused on working when I found this AOL.com stash of celebrity baby videos. My favorite was Liv Tyler’s baby, Milo Langdon. I liked how he said “please” when he wanted the camera flashes to stop irritating his eyes. And I’m sure the paps found that adorable too.
While I was watching Kingston Rossdale’s (Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s son) video, I couldn’t help realizing how the stars we so envy actually live lifestyles that are not so envy-eliciting after all.

Nicole Richie even had the gall to smile in her jail mugshot, as if saying "this is nothing."
Soon, they could put up a movie studio inside prison facilities in Los Angeles, California. The jails there are becoming pretty crowded with celebs, that’s why.
On Thursday, a pregnant Nicole Richie was released from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Los Angeles after serving 82 minutes of a four-day sentence for driving under the influence of drugs.
Richie served her 82 minutes at the county jail in suburban Lynwood, the same place her "The Simple Life" co-star Paris Hilton was housed for ...

What is your carbon footprint? Hmm… ok, let’s start over… What is a carbon footprint?
A carbon footprint is a “measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide“.
Here’s a nifty tool from ivillage.com, an online calculator to measure carbon footprints. I think this is [...]

If you’ve been to HongKong, you’d definitely know the distinct experience it offers to tourists, businessmen and long-term vacationeers. Culture is the main offering that this open city offers its visitors. A mix really of several south east Asian cultures such as Indian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Singapore/Malaysian and Thai. While the Chinese culture overwhelms it somehow balances out [...]
We all remember how good ‘ol mom would always remind us to “brush your teeth before going to bed, dear”, or “use toothpaste for heaven’s sake” or “would you please brush your molars too?”. It was good for mom to do that, if they didn’t I think half the world (or even more) would be [...]
