I get it, she's famous so ergo her dogs are too.  I just could not get over the new reports about her dogs apparently being eaten by coyotes. And how news media have created a spotlight over it.  Reports have mentioned that Paris customarily would leave her 17 dogs out the yard at night.  And because of this (as it was a clear invitation to the wild predators), 2 of her prized collection went dinner with the coyotes. Well, whatever... anyway, her dogs aren't in any digestive state.  They're all ok, now everyone can move on ...
I've been thinking... are we a specie driven by weights?  From the time one is born it is a standard for one to be placed on top of a scale.  I would understand that, plus the occasional weighing in for health and/or professional purposes as age progresses.  For some culture the heavier one is the better, for some... less is more appropriate.  To the greater majority the average varies, depending on which magazines you read. :) A lot of people get really stressed out if they appear to be heavier than what they would want.  ...

There is one thing that saddens me about our generation, and this is the seemingly extreme materialism that we have. A generation back, our parents had toiled in order for us to experience the comforts that they themselves have missed out on. But today, the average yuppie works... To buy the next iPod, the next digicam, the latest and greatest laptop. While there is totally nothing wrong with being able to enjoy the fruits of one’s labor, and for all I know, like in my country, these young adults deserve their creature comforts too, because these young ones are the type who actually support their families or siblings, and put them through college. But there is something wrong when people focus all their energies on these “creature comforts.” Then there is something grossly wrong when people even turn to credit cards in order to fuel these wants.
To continue yesterday’s article on 2008 being the Year of Getting Real, here are the four other major world upheavals predicted to happen this year by a select group of marketers, activists and cultural anthropologists. Green year Green will be the color of the year. This is quite evident already in many of the malls where you can see displays in the cool radiant glow of this color of nature. This is probably because of the all too pervasive effects worldwide of global warming – as brought to our consciousness by Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore, the former ...
liv tyler and milo langdonI was just trying to lighten things up a bit, because I was getting too focused on working when I found this AOL.com stash of celebrity baby videos. My favorite was Liv Tyler’s baby, Milo Langdon. I liked how he said “please” when he wanted the camera flashes to stop irritating his eyes. And I’m sure the paps found that adorable too. While I was watching Kingston Rossdale’s (Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s son) video, I couldn’t help realizing how the stars we so envy actually live lifestyles that are not so envy-eliciting after all.
Nicole Richie even had the gall to smile in her jail mugshot, as if saying "this is nothing." Soon, they could put up a movie studio inside prison facilities in Los Angeles, California. The jails there are becoming pretty crowded with celebs, that’s why. On Thursday, a pregnant Nicole Richie was released from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Los Angeles after serving 82 minutes of a four-day sentence for driving under the influence of drugs. Richie served her 82 minutes at the county jail in suburban Lynwood, the same place her "The Simple Life" co-star Paris Hilton was housed for ...
While winding up for working on some other writing projects, I started flipping through the channels, looking for something informative or entertaining to watch. I was thinking of going for either BBC, CNN or a documentary-type thing when, when I flipped to ETC, I spotted Jay Manuel, whom I had adored on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model, and decided to stay on. The show, I realized, is named "Style Her Famous," and since I'm a little too lazy to look it up right now, I think it seems to be another makeover show. Don't we all love makeovers?
Images of Paris Hilton being arrested to serve out a 23-day sentence are still fresh in everyone's mind but it seems like there's no stopping these young celebrities from getting a booking at their local jail. Just a couple of days following Lindsay Lohan's arrest, Hilton's co-star in the reality show "The Simple Life" is now facing jail time as well after being sentenced to 90 hours in prison for driving under the influence in December. Richie was apprehended after 911 calls from disgruntled motorists alerted officials that the daughter of famed songwriter Lionel was driving in the wrong ...
All’s well that end’s well – hopefully for Lindsay Lohan. After spending 45 days in a drug and alcohol rehab facility, Lilo is free! After completing a 45-day stint in rehab, Lindsay Lohan and some pals enjoy a night on the town at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas last Saturday. The actress, who celebrated her 21st birthday in the rehab facility in the posh seaside community of Malibu, California, is now attending an outpatient program that includes Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, counseling and daily testing, Lohan’s publicist Leslie Sloane said. She is now wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet “so there are no questions about ...
There's too much news recently about several female celebrities who have gone over the edge, such as Paris Hilton (who has reportedly done a copmlete 180-degree turn from living wild), Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan--all of whom we've been featuring here on Froodee, and who probably deserve their own main categories in the sidebar! Here's a breath of fresh air from yet another celebrity that the youth today are looking up to. Emma Watson played Hermione Granger in the five Harry Potter films so far, and is slated to reprise her role in the two remaining film installments. ...
