Debmar-Mercury and Hasbro announced plans for bringing the great board game Trivial Pursuit to the small screen in Fall 2008. Since the game was launched in 1982, over 85 millions sets have been sold worldwide.
The show format also silences anyone who calls trivia “useless” information. Viewers upload questions to contestants through participating websites—and earn money for questions no one can answer.
The show is set to air in Fall 2008, so that gives everyone one year to research for obscure literary references and scientific facts. Hey, that’s one way you can get your kid to go to the library.
