Paris Hilton’s dogs are ok… whatever!

I get it, she’s famous so ergo her dogs are too.  I just could not get over the new reports about her dogs apparently being eaten by coyotes. And how news media have created a spotlight over it.  Reports have mentioned that Paris customarily would leave her 17 dogs out the yard at night.  And because of this (as it was a clear invitation to the wild predators), 2 of her prized collection went dinner with the coyotes.

Well, whatever… anyway, her dogs aren’t in any digestive state.  They’re all ok, now everyone can move on and do other important stuff. 🙂

“They were at Paris’s house Wednesday in her recording studio, and all the dogs were playing and looked as healthy and happy as can be,” a rep for the heiress tells PEOPLE. “Paris even had a doggie mansion built for them and it is very secured. ” 

Her rep was responding to reports that Hilton, 27, has been crying non-stop due to the dogs’ deaths.

 

Virtual Tennis

I just got myself a PSP slim today. What fun!  I already have one PSP and the reason for this purchase was to try out the player vs. player mode of Sega’s Virtual Tennis.   I could tell you we played for hours!  While walking in the mall, at home in the living room, and probably while on a taxi today we’d hit the virtual courts another time with my nephew.

While I’ve been beaten many times over by a teenager, I can’t seem to put down this game.

Almost like playing real tennis (?) nah!  I think nothing can beat real sweat as I take a real swing at that green ball over the net.  But what’s almost like the real tennis are the shrieks and giggles of a good time with a loved one.  I’d encourage you, if you have the extra cash, to save up more for a second PSP unit.

It’s really fun!  You won’t regret it.  The laughters are priceless!

Well loved queen of pop Madonna has spent 50 revolutions around the sun!  That’s an awesome feat for someone who’s energized the world with good music… first-class entertainer.  Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie (born August 16, 1958) is from Bay City, Michigan.  Moved to New York city for a career in modern dance.  After 25 years in the music biz she has everything under her belt:

  1. Guinness Book of World Records lists her as the world’s most successful female recording artist of all time.
  2. She’s the top earning female singer in the world, selling around 200 million copies of her albums with a net worth of US$400.
  3. She’s acted in 22 films and while most of them haven’t been “that” successful, each film has made a firm mark and public recall.
  4. A recently inducted member to the Rock and Roll hall of fame (March 10, 2008)

We love Madonna here.  Her most striking performance, at least for me, was as Evita Peron.  I think she was made for that film.  A very moving actress.

Movie supervillains of all time

I was a little curious when I opened up my Yahoo page today.  There was a box advertising a list of the 15  top movie villains of all time.  Now being a movie fan myself, I often wondered why there wasn’t any lists of this sort.  Did the superheroes craved the spotlights too much?  Ah there wouldn’t be superheroes if there weren’t any supervillains trying to make life miserable. 

So I clicked… no wait, I made at least five of MY personal top villains first (Megatron, Dr. Octopus, Davy Jones, Plankton & The Riddler) to see if I’m with the flow.  And wadayaknow… three of them made Yahoo’s list. Argghhh… I always thought Plankton was #1 !  But hey, it seems that Yahoo’s just not a SpongeBob Squarepants fan.

Surf That Channel!

A cousin recently introduced me to www.surfthechannel.com , and I am loving watching The Office season 4 through it.  I just love that show, hilarious!  I’ve been watching it on TV but it’s on season 3 replay.  I really like to know how Ryan the temp is having his revenge on Michael.  Don’t get me wrong, I love Michael… the star of the show.  Just wanted his butt kicked from time to time.

Anywho… if you’re following TV programs and are frustrated at the messages you’re getting (eg. Your IP is not from the USA, so you can’t watch this webcast), arggghhh…. you’d have the time of your life with www.surfthechannel.com .  They have about 500 TV shows online from the first to the last season even. 

My favorites are FRIENDS, The Office (US version), Will & Grace, Three and a Half Men, and the 3 CSIs.
