Well, it’s that time of the year again when we TRY to make a list of resolutions we’d hope we will keep. What was your last year’s resolutions? Did you keep the list? If you did, how was it? Did you do at least 50% of them? Ah, if you’re like me you probably have lost the list, haven’t kept any of them and are banging your head WHY you ever made them in the first place.
Back in school, students were encouraged to make a list. I remember those days clearly… what we’d do was make that list, and the teacher would make us recite them in front of class. There was a year when we had a “buddy” who’d keep us to our promises day in and out of the new year. You guessed it (!) that buddy never did check after the first week, and that teacher forgot to check.
If you’re the type who like lists, make a new year’s resolution. I’d encourage you to post it somewhere you can always see, like the refrigerator door, a mirror, or somewhere you frequently glance on. It didn’t help me, but it may do you good. 🙂
