Santa knows if you’ve been bad or good, and gives you presents accordingly. Apparently, actor Charlie Sheen has been bad this year, and he got a different kind of Christmas present this year: an arrest. A report from Aspen states that the star was arrested Friday in relation to charges of domestic abuse.
The police report mentions that Charlie Sheen is being held on suspicion of second-degree assault, menacing, and criminal mischief. The first two are felonies, while the last is a mere misdemeanor. The incident/s happened in a historic house which is currently up for sale for a whopping $7.5 million.
Being arrested on Christmas sucks big time (not that I know anything about it), but Sheen’s bad luck streak does not end there. It seems that he will be held in jail without bail until his first court appearance. While this is nothing unusual, the court is closed for the holidays, and no date has been set for his hearing. Not only did Charlie Sheen have to spend Christmas Day in jail, but he’ll most likely be sitting there over the weekend!
Of course we know how money and fame can do wonders. We don’t even need to go far to find examples of how celebrities and other personalities have found ways and means to get out of the many binds they have gotten themselves in. The question is will Charlie Sheen get out of this one? Was he a good enough boy for the rest of the year to offset this?
