I suppose it’s destiny. Stan Lee, creator or co-creator of most of Marvel Comics’ line-up of iconic superheroes, has signed on with the History Channel to find real-life super-humans.
He and Daniel Browning Smith — who’s been called “the world’s most flexible man” — will host Stan Lee’s Superhumans, a show that you might say is about real X-Men. The show will highlight people who have genetic differences to the standard homo sapien, giving them special abilities.
The announcement was made during History Channel’s annual “upfront” presentation, when new and upcoming shows are presented to the media for the first time.
