Terminator series given full season order

Good news for sci-fi fans. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be assured of a full season’s worth of episodes.

Fox has ordered another nine episodes of the critically-acclaimed series despite the fact that the show had been somewhat struggling with its Monday night timeslot. But the developing fan base and the critics’ response has been enough for Fox to put some more money into it. Finally, Fox decides to think for a change. The network has been notorious for just axing shows if it doesn’t perform well immediately in ratings.

Linda Hamilton rumored to appear in Terminator movie

One interesting rumor surrounding the filming of Terminator: Salvation is that Linda Hamilton will be appearing in the movie. Her character, Sarah Connor, will reportedly feature in a series of flashbacks. Her rep has not given any statement regarding the matter but the buzz is still strong.
Hopefully, she does get to appear in McG’s movie.

Anton Yelchin rumored to be in new Terminator sequel

Terminator fans, here’s some more news about the McG directed Terminator movie that continues the franchise everyone thought would end with T3.
Young actor Anton Yelchin is reportedly negotiating to play Kyle Rees in the new movie. The movie, which will begin production in May, is continuing negotiations with actors to meet the production schedule. Yelchin is supposed to play a young Reese. For those who may not be familiar with that name, Kyle Reese was the soldier that John Connor ordered to go back in time to save a you Sarah Connor in the first Terminator movie. Yep, he is the guy who is also John’s father. The original movie had Michael Biehn playing the role of Reese.
Christian Bale is still locked on to play the role of John Connor in the movie — which is scheduled to be released May 2009. The new sequel is set after the holocaust when humans are now waging war with the machines.
